11:34 pm - Wow....
|
I havent even logged into this thing in a year. A lot has changed. I took the year off school. Worked for half of that at Mojo's the restaurant and bar. I'm now very happy working as a Florist. However, I turn 21 soon and am thinking about accepting a position as a barback in order to move up to bar tender in the next few months, something I've wanted to do for years. We'll see. My current boyfriend's name is Blake. We've been together 8 months, making this my longest and most successful relationship to date. He's a VCU Alum as of December with a Chemistry major and plans to attend pharmacy school next year. We're praying for MCV so he can stay in Richmond and things can keep going as they are. I've been living in Oregon Hill this year with Jill and Katie S. Its the women's rugby house. Pretty good times however, I'm excited to sign the lease tomorrow with Ktk, Katie Artery and their boyfriends CJ and Matt for a gorgeous, brand new house in the Carver community. I will be returning to VCU in the fall as a double Women's Studies and Political Science major. I've settled down a lot this year, partly due to my relationship, although when Ido get loose it is usually with Blake. The other reason for this change is due to the fact that I've been supporting myself fully and working as much as possible. I yearn for warm weather to come and stick around for longer then a week.
Hope everyone in Blacksburg is doing well and keeping hope alive.

9:20 am - Colpo
|
For those of you who knew about it, I had my Colposcopy today. My doctor foun one group of cells that were irregular and took a sample for biapsy. I should know if anything else is wrong within 4 weeks. And I found out that the path from where I am now and cancer is about 10-15 years. So hopefully they will come back saying the cells are not pre-cancerous. At which point I will probably post that.
This weekend is probably going to be the best all year.

11:38 am - Bad Day
|
So Gabriel has said in the recent past he's never been the jealous type before me, but he's also never had a girlfriend that flirted as much as I do. And I've never been the jealous type before either, but I've never dated a guy who kept naked pictures of his ex around.
I know I have plenty of commitment and trust issues, that stem from nothing in particular, as I've pretty much always dated extremely nice guys that treated me very well and never gave me even the slightest reason to doubt their intentions, but still this bothers me. I'm hurt and I think it might be over soon. I've seen wy too many people I know be fucked over by the opposite sex, leading to years of bad decisions and dead end relatioships, to let it happen to me and I'm begining to doubt whether or not I will ever be able to feel like more then a piece of ass in his eyes and trust him and be really intimate.

12:13 pm - Catching Up
|
Well its been awhile since I've done anything with this thing...
For those who were unaware, Gabriel had some legal troubles that began very shortly after we met in January. I've been worrying about these for awhile and they were finally resolved Tuesday. Court went way better then expected, weekend clean up, ASAP, restricted/suspended license, and a $500 fine. I hope he learned his lesson. I think he has.
Beyond that, I hate my life when I'm working at Double T's, so I got a job as an Assistant Manager (possibly manager if they don't find one) for Hanover Country Club pool.
Jill, Katie, and I signed a lease for a three bedroom, two bathroom house in Oregon Hill last week also. It has a front porch, back porch, and fenced in backyard. And I might be getting a dog in the nearer future (Gabe is going to keep her for me until I move to the new house). Her name is Loce, and her parents moved to California and couldn't keep her and it might work out. Shes a pit-beagle mix.
Now I have two weeks left until exams, a project, a 15 page paper, and two tests before May 2nd, and three finals between the fourth and the 7th. Fun stuff.

3:15 pm - Wonderful Weekend
|
So the weather has been fabulous, and I've been in a really good mood accordingly. Friday I finished school and bummed around all day, went and saw some nice houses with Jill then drove down to VA Beach with Gabriel to see Say Anything. I was a bit worried we were going to miss them but we made it and the show was awesome. They are amazing.
Saturday Gabriel and I had a lazy day and enjoyed the weather before heading home for Becca's birthday party. We left really late and didn't get there until almost nine but it was so fun. Gabriel got really drunk off of top shelf scotch and ended up passing out early, but not before asking me to be his girlfriend and telling his parents we were together. Everyone like him a lot so it was good. We're official.
The little kdis were watching us play beer pong and my neighbor was on my team. We kicked ass. Krista and her awesome roomie Kelly got their butts kicked in water pong by the 9 and 10 years olds there.
Liz, Bec, Gabe, my mom, and I all just hung around and had a lazy day, then we went to El Charros for dinner before heading home. This was the best weekend I've had in a very long time.

12:50 pm - Another week gone
|
Last weekend was okay. We went to Long wood, and I was really excited about it, but we didn't end up staying the night, and I was grumpy all day. I'm almost never grumpy so I think the girls, especially Jill thought I was just being mean. Ah well though. Madado's was good again too! mmm... Tom and Jerry sub. Anyway, came back, drank more at Rosa's then headed over to the guys house. Fish was a douche again, Jimbo was random, other people were cool. I spelt beer on Corey accidentally and felt bad but she said it was okay. Gabriel took forever and a day to meet up with me so I just wanted to go to sleep when he got there, so he drove KS home (she was so cute) and we went to bed. He was really nice about everything too. But someone called and needed a ride home (since he gave up drinkin I guess they all call him now) so he left and I passed out. Sunday I was hurting from the game and had to work 10:30-5, went to Grandmas house for dinner, then Gabe's because I was running a 102.1 degree fever. He nursed me. Fever stayed until wednesday morning, gabe came over monday night to take care of me too. Last night we went to Mars Bar for 80s night. Then awesome Phil and Luis' house, but Paige wanted to leave and wouldn't get over it so we left at one and the girls went to the bar and I came home.
Now its Spring Break, the weather is fabulous today. Gabriel and I are going to VA Beach to see my favorite current band (Say Anything) and tomorrow I'm home until Tuesday! WOO! Haven't been in Woodbridge since December. Anyone want to grab El Charros? Jeremy if you're home too, hollar at me.

10:55 pm - Disappointed
|
The good things that have happened recently are as follows: *Hanging out with Gabriel is going well. We hang out more often, and have good conversations, and while at times we annoy eachother, I think its comfortable and he makes me laugh. *Gabe also fixed my computer and way tricked it out, so no more viruses!! *The rugby season finally really started with a tournement which we placed second in, and would have won if the ref hadn't been so biased and made such bullshit calls. *I'm back in shape, finally.
However, I'm feeling very underestimated lately. It seems the people I hold in high esteem don't think the same of me, one in particular. It's very disconserting because I think he, of all people, would acknowledge and value my ecletic good and unique personality traits and my mentality. I wish I didn't let it bother me, but it does, so I think I have to finally cut said individual out completely. I've obvious wasted too much of myself on him and I can no longer ignore the fact that I have never mattered, in any context (platonic or otherwise) as he has to me.
I'm also getting my ass kicked in classes. My English paper I know could be amazing if I could find a spare 6 hours every couple of days to devote to it. But my attention is so divided between work, other classes, and rugby. I also suck at math, computers, and economics, making my other classes overwhelming also. Hopefully I can catch up or even get ahead over Spring Break.

3:10 pm - some girls suck
|
SO Last night was the Superbowl. Big sis came down and we started by going to Buschmeier's. That was pretty chill. Just the three of us, he's a really good guy. Next we went to Jimbo's for the men's rugby thing. They were such assholes. I was planning on staying until th e2nd quarter, but we were over it after about ten minutes. Next was Mean John's place. So great. They had two kegs which was nice, and he and Connor were always bugging me to come see the house (because they are fixing it up for Erik the brainsurgeon) and it is totally fabulous. Nice kitchen, and an excellent garden in the back. Gabriel was there ( the 27 year old I've been seeing for the last three weeks) and Becca approves of him. His roommates band played at halftime and they were killer. I miss going to shows so I think I'll start that up again. It sucks that all their friends are so good looking too. Anyway, after the bowl (GO STEELERS!) B, the singer Jason and the drummer Evan and I went to 3rd street then home.
Once there Becca went to sleep on the couch and Brittney ended up freaking out and hitting her, causing me to punch her in the face. Then we were yelling and she lounged at me so I pushed her against the wall and she called her parents, then mine (which weren't home so Kelly got really pissed) and then her dad called me. He's a reasonable man so its crazy how he ended up with such a horribly unreasonable daughter, and wife for that matter. We went to bed and she through a hissy fit like the 3 year old she is all night. When I woke up to get water at 5 she was still awake. Weirdo. Hopefully she'll move out now.
Interesting night.

2:05 pm - harry Potter
|
So when we went to see Harry Potter, The Goblet of Fire, I realized that they must have skipped a lot, despite the fact that I'd never read any of the books before. So I decided to start reading them. I finished the first one over Thanksgiving. Second one earlier in winter break and now I'm almost done with the third. Since I've been reading it partically nonstop so my mom can take it back home with her monday to the library I've started having weird Harry Potter dreams where I'm 12 and taking the place of Hermonie. It's really weird. I don't think I've ever slept so actively.

2:51 pm - yesturday was brilliant
|
Exams are nearly complete. I have one more on Tuesday (*longest exam schedule ever). Yesturday I met up with Corey, Katie S, and Jill for some Christmas shopping. It was great! I love these girls so much its crazy. We look at wedding rings and picked out presents for everyone. Perfect girls day. Later Jill and I went to her neighbors Christmas party. That was the cutest thing ever. She had made cookies and little sandwichs,. tons to drink, Santa hats for everyone. We played Uno and Asshole and watched the cartoon version of the Grinch. Surprisingly I knew quite a few people there. It was a nice little gathering.
So anyone have a good idea for a Christmas present for at 20 year old guy? I'm clueless.

| What kind of drunk are you? Sloppy Drunk You are a liability in public places, because you tend to elbow glasses, knock into wobbly tables and back into waitresses holding full pitchers. You probably wake up in the mornings wondering where you got all those bruises. You're embarrassing, but amusing to watch as well.

11:31 am - Home from home
|
I had such a wonderful weekend. Surprisingly so. Got home wednesday night, traffic wasn't too bad. Hung out with the parents for awhile. Erika and Ryan called butI decided I didn't feel like going out in the snow, until Jacob called and insisted I visited. That was cool. Beer pong, jarheads, Mikey Close (weird) and too many cigerettes. Did the Thanksgiving thing Thursday. Nicer than I thought. Of course I cried at prayer. Becca and I matched which as weird. Nice bonding times. Went to Harry Potter with Buddy, Becca, the Maces, and Steph then headed to Derrick and Deon's. That was nice, but brief. Molestor Chris was there trying to hollar (bleh).
Friday I got up early and went shopping with my mom. Becca got me a blender and I got rugby cleats and cowboy boots. Ate at Becca's resturant (delicious) and went home to nap. Hung out at Erika's for a couple hours that night. Saturday was shopping again with my mom GOT MY NEW PHONE! Went to Connie's with Steph. Watched Amittyville Horror (still having trouble sleeping) with Stace, Katie, and Casey. Good times. Church early on Sunday. Hung around the house. Talked to Scott for almost an hour (our longest phone conversation ever) packed up everything, including a lot of Christmas decorations for the apartment and drove back down bright and early this morning.
I had a lovely holiday, hope you all did too.

The Girls and I went to see the new Harry Potter last night (first midnight movie ever) andit was amazing. Pretty much all college kids. We had an hour or so to wait and hang out int he theatres before it started. Fun stuff. Bonding is always fun. Decided the rugby formal would be kegs and eggs instead of dress up. I'm excited. The movie was pretty scary. Because I didn't think they elaborated on enough I've decided to cave and start reading the books. I'm also goingto reread Narnya, because it was one of my favorites as a child but the preview made me realizeIw as forgettinga lot. There are a lot of good movies this season.
